Well, not only is it the weekend of the Masters, but I got my first invite of the year for a scramble tournament. It was the Young Life tourney which I've played in for the last few years. A good tournament and usually a good time. Being the recovering alcoholic in the foursome, I get to be the designated driver.
My number one golfing buddy threw down on me yesterday. He just got a new 3 wood, and thinks it will resurrect his game. This is the Easter season, and I definitely believe in resurrection and renewal, but I'm not sure even Jesus could help that poor soul with his golf swing. And I'm sure he knocked the crap out of it, at least until he plopped down his hard earned cash. Any way, his challenge is duly noted and will be played out soon.
I love this time of year, love the competition, and love the time spend with my best friend.
